The Aroubei ring embodies the recurring motifs of Angkorian art–curvilinear forms, floral shapes and the manifestation of the divine creature, the naga. The ring’s coiling shape appears like the body of a serpent with a head and tail, but the beauty of flora (lotus bud) and foliage (semi-furled leaf) is the design inspiration of each end.
